This week was full of lots of advenures. Theres been a lot of

"Where are you from?"

"California"

"Arizona?"

"Si."

Thats my Spanish in a nutshell in case youre all wondering. Its beautiful mì accento con una gringa compañera. 

WE ATE SO MUCH THIS WEEK.

We made kaka de mono twice this week, which is no bake cookies and its not doing us good. But the member love it so we keep making them because thyre chocolate and peanut butter so like what else do you need? 

This next week we will get our TRANFER CALLS on Saturday. This change has been the fastest change ever, I feel like I got here yesterday. But it's been so good. My compañera has been fabulous. 

This week we went and tought in ENGLISH!! I SPOKE IN ENGLISH IT WAS WEIRD. There are these investigators (although they don't know it yet) names Felix and Nianda. And he's actually from Arizona but she is from Indonesia and they are of the Islam religion. He convertyed to it when he met her so they could get married and they've been kickin it here in Chile for about a year while he teaches English at the university. 

Sowe went over there and they made us pizza. And we just talked in English because he speaks it duh and she's better at understanding and spekaing it tham she is at Spanish. But they are the cutest couple ever and it was amazing being able to be there. 

they told us about Islam and its was so interesting to hear about, and we told them about mormonism and it was just really good!Ç

wE had an earthquake on Tuesday. nbd. It was so fun. We were in our apartment and the bulding was just SWINGING aruond and the peruvian in our apartment was scared out of her mind while all us gringas were sooooo excited.

Bueno. I think it would do everyone good to read Ether 12 and then Hebrews 11. They are all about faith. They are amazing. Faith is so important. 

We need it as much as they needed it way back when. 

Through faith we can see miracles and we can grow and cahnge into the person we were destined to become.

This week was incredible.

We had a baptism on Satuday!! MAYRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have pictures cause my camera died BUT it was amazing and this girl (she has 19 years) is gonig to have amazing eternal family someday. 

Ahhh, This week I learned so much about the Strengthening power of the Atonement. My companion and I are seeing the hand of the Lord so much in every single day. The power of prayer is real. Heavenly Father is really there, and He is always waiting to hear from us. 

WE went to Bitanical Gardins in Talca today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA LANE!!!! I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN A WHILE BUT IM SURE YOU DONT LOOK A DAY OVER 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in other news. This week was a week of such great experiences. We met many new people this week, and one of them is this cute old lady who feeds us sugar. (dont worry mom, im being fed!)

We met a woman with the heart of a little girl, who is so gitty and so cute, and so RTEADY FOR THE GOSPEL!!

And we met camila, who is like 21 and is studying and is like "the youth these days are so lost" and we're like RIGHT! WE HAVE A SOLUTION FOR THAT.

I just want everyone to go home and ready Hel. 5:12, its about bui9lding upon the rock of our Redeemer who is Christ, We really can withstand the fiery darts of Satan when we build upon our foundation of Christ. In 1 Nefi 8 we read about Lehi's dream and how IMPORTANT it is to hold on to the word of God. Theres a talk somewhere and he talks about this dream and he comments that the criptures are a LIFE LINE for us. They are absolutely necessary. 

The scriptures help us strengthen our faith in Christ, which helps us make better desicions, which helps us to withstand bad temptaion and recognize when we need to repent!

I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! HAPPY DAY OF THE PIONEERS!!

RAIN

this month the all of chile fasted for rain. and let me just say, when Heavenly Father brings it, He brings it. we got showers of rain. Its amazing to see the blessings that come from acting in faith.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

hAPPY bIRTHDAY aMERICA!!!!!!!  this week was full of excitement! Chile won the Copa America (woot woot) andf the 4th of July was awesome. We made some Hamburgers oreo balls with teh american flag. Super bakan. 

But more importantly we are moving the work forward, This ward is a change from what I was used to, but It's all good, we have 2 baptisms coming up already and are anticipating much more.

and the contacting is hilarious. nuff said. I will have no fear when I come home, let me just say that much.

This week I learned a lot a LOT about relying on the Spirit. The spirit can be SO STRONG if we just follow it without fear. Ah as young missionaries, me and Hermana Chapman have to be relying a lot more on the spirit and I am starting to learn how much God really can be involved in our lives as much as we let him. 

a wise man always said "God will be as much a part of your life as you allow him to be" 

I'm grateful for the guidance we recieve from the Spirit and the scriptures anf our wonderful general authorities. I can't blieve we lost another one this week, but its all part of the plan!

Cambios!!

June 30, 2015

This week was CRAZY! We had a house mate go home early so we were in a trio with Hermana Cottom from Arizona! 

And then we got calls Saturday night telling us where we be going for cambios! IM STILL IN TALCA BUT in La Florida. So I basically just moved next door to where I was. And changes houses. and compañeras. My new compañeras name is Hermana CHAPMAN de Utah! WOOOHOO! She is awesome. We live with two other Hermanas who are also in our ward and it is so fun. I moved in yesterday!

But This next change is going to be amazing. Its going to be my 6 month mark in the mission already in 2 WEEKS!!!???? 

It´s so fast, its not funny. Its really not even funny. Thats why we have set goals and we are going to see so many miracles. gOALS ARE THE KEY. Our sector hasn't seen a baptism in 3 years, and we are going to make it happen and its gonna be a FAMILY. We haven't found them yet, but theyre out there and they're gonna go to the temple when Im finishing the mission in a year! AHHHH!

Prayers for familias is what we need from home, Speaking of home HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA! BE SAFE BE SAFE BE SAFE!!! 

AND HUZZAAHH CHILE!! Who gets to play in the final on Americas BDAY in the Copa America! WOOOHOO!!!!!!!!
